ANVESHA'S POV:

I woke up with a slight headache. It happens whenever I doze off or take a nap after crying. I saw the clock hanging on the wall. It's 5 in the evening. I got up and went to washroom to freshen up a bit.

I went down and saw mumma and bade papa sitting at the lounge area with cups of tea in their hands. I went a kept my head on mumma's lap and she caressed my hairs.

'Theek to lag raha hai na?' She asked. I hummed.

'What happened beta...lunch bhi nahi kiya...achanak so gyi' bade papa asked.

'Yes bade papa...vo bas thoda sar me dard hai' I answered.

'You should have told earlier...medicine chahiye?' Mumma asked softly.

'No badi mumma... thoda sa hi dard hai it will be alright in sometime' I answered.

'BTW bade papa, bhai kab aa rhe?' I asked.

'He might be coming in an hour or half an hour more probably, you needed something? Shall I ask someone to get something for you?' He asked.

I shook my head lightly. All the men at my home are alike, over-caring towards me. It makes me feel blessed but sometimes, it just annoys me. Like, I can never act like a well grown up independent adult with them.

'Avi! Shall we go out for dinner today?' Bade papa asked while sipping the tea from the cup in his hands.

'Sure!' I said.

'It will be an outing for us too, also we haven't went anywhere since long' Mumma said.

Although I wasn't willing to go but eventually I agreed. I sat up straight and stretched myself a bit and took my phone in my hands to open Instagram. Few thousand likes more on my latest post and a new fan-page for me! Great! I smiled a bit.

Suddenly I felt completely dark around me. A pair of hands covered my eyes. I stood up and panicked a bit. The hands left and I felt instant relief inside me. I turned to see the person who did this prank and....who made me extremely happy!

'AHAAN BHAIYA!!!' I screamed and jumped on him. He hugged me back and twirled a couple of rounds. He left me and hugged me properly.

'I missed you!' I exclaimed.

He looked at me and pecked my head. Ahaan bhaiya is the elder brother of Vidhaan Bhaiya and mine. He went to The States for a deal and to attend a business party on behalf of our family.

'I missed you too!' He said the the same tone as mine and I chuckled.

'When did you came?' I asked looking at him in his homely clothes.

'You were sleeping' He answered.

'How was the trip? Did you got the deal? And what did you got for me?' I bombarded him with questions.

'Woah! Easy Sista! And for your questions so yes the trip was good, I got the deal and I got you nothing' He answered.

'That's grea- wait what?! You literally got nothing for me?' I asked trying to act like hurt.

'No! As I remember, You told me that you do not need anything when I asked you about that' He said. WTH!

'Kya bhaiya!' I whined and he chuckled.

'Ro mat! I was kidding' He said wrapping his arm around me and I grinned. I knew it!

He is the most caring brother I could have wished for. Where Vidhaan bhaiya loves to irritate me, here he loves taking care of me. Both the brothers contrast each other in many ways. But few of the qualities which are common are, first, their protectiveness towards me, second, their sharp minds and third, anger. Do not dare to make them angry or they will make your life a living hell!

We sat in the lawn till the dusk while bhaiya was showing our gifts and telling us about his trip. Meanwhile, Vidhaan Bhaiya was back and we quickly got ready to go for the dinner.

We stepped our foot down to a quite big restruant. This belonged to Revati aunty's family. I don't even want to remember her name. She made enough chaos in my mind!

We had our dinner talking and laughing. Mainly my brothers trying to cheer my mood up!

RUDRAANSH'S POV:

Shocked. No! VERY SHOCKED! This was my state right now. Not in a disappointing or negative way but I was way ashtonished. After I saw her picture in Mom's phone, all I could have been think about is, her. How the destiny played it's game.

After seeing her picture, I rushed back to my room making the excuse of an important online meeting. But whom I was kidding! I am sure Mom saw me reacting differently.

But How? I know that she is in Delhi with her family but how by god's grace, my mom shipped me and her together?

'Thud!' The door opened revealing the twin invaders.

'You had a meeting, didn't you?' Riddhant asked trying to act curious. Trying!

'Yeah...it's..it's about to begin' I answered calmly.

I hastily try to find my Mac but god knows where I kept that little stupid device before my nap. Argh! My clumsiness will kill me one day! I sighed not getting it.

Suddenly someone forwarded me that and I looked up to the face of the person and she was Aadhya standing with Inaya. Game Over!

'Vahi rakhi thi Bhaiya' She said.

I looked at her and smiled embarrassingly.

'By the way' she continued and I again looked at her face.

'Which clients are these? I don't remember anyone fixing meetings this hour that to on a weekend' she interrogated. This little Sherlock Holmes sister of mine! How can you forget that she works with you stupid Rudra!

'You forgot Aadhya? Where are your senses these days? Mr Erdoğan from Istanbul! He...he wanted to collaborate with us! Remember?'

I tried to remember someone's name and spoke the one which came to my tongue. But there is the least possibility that she will believe.

'But Sir, As I remember, I already dealt with them last week when you were busy with your Dubai project' She answered smartly.

'Oh....Ohh! Is..is it Aadhya? Good job!' I said trying to cover up the blunder making her smirk.

She walked slowly towards me and whispered in my ears.

'I know it is about Anvesha, Sir cum bade bhaiya!' She smirked. Somebody contact RAW!

'Kya khusur-phusur ho rhi hai? Hume bhi btao' Inaya whined.

'Nothing! Elders' talk!' Aadhya said and smirked. What's with her smirking today!

'Isse chodo, hume to btao!' Vedu exclaimed.

'Bola na elders' talk' she said trying to be authorative.

'Haan to tu bhi to chhoti hi hai na...you are just 2 years elder than us!' Said Riddhu.

'Leave na guys!' I shouted getting irritated.

'It's nothing relating to you guys and now Inu, Riddhu and Vedu, kindly go and get ready for the dinner' I used my elder brother tone and luckily they agreed. I turned my head towards Aadhya and lifted my eyebrow.

'Don't forget bhaiya, I know about your crush' She said proudly.

'Kuch bhi mat bol, I don't have anything for Anvesha now' I defended myself.

'Par maine Avi ka name to liya hi nahi' She said smirking again making me dumfounded.

'Why are you smirking this much today and aren't you crossing your limits? Don't forget I am your boss' I tried to change the topic and opened the Mac sitting on the bed.

'I am smirking coz I learnt it from you, BOSS and aap bhi mat bhooliye ki this is not YOUR office bhaiya..sorry BOSS!' she backfired getting a bit pissed off. Okay I shouldn't have said that.

'Vaise sir! I have her instagram ID' she said rhetorically making my head snap at her.

'And her contact number too' Okay she is just enjoying the situation.

'Kaise?' I asked.

'Why so curious? You don't have anything for her.'

'Okay I accept! I do have a crush on her abhi bhi'

'Good! and for your question, did you forget that she was my senior and we were very close during our school days, and kuch months pehle I saw her ID's like on one of my friend's post, phir follow kar liya and we exchanged numbers too! Even I have met her after she shifted back to Delhi' She ended her long answer.

'But you never told this to me' I said.

'Why should I tell these to you, moreover you never asked' She is true.

'Aadhu Rudra... kya baat chal rhi hai? You guys don't have to get ready?' Mom asked.

'I was just going Tayiji...vo bhaiya was just asking about the project I am working on' She lied smoothly and I looked at her lifting my left brow.

'C'mon Rudra! Live and let the little kid live! Jaldi ready ho dono ab' Mom commanded and left.

'Did I asked you that?' I asked her.

'To kya sach bol deti ki aapko ek ladki par crush hai?' She replied. This girl!

'Now change and let me go' She continued and left.

A frown appeared on my face continued by a smile. What she said was half-truth. I HAD a crush on Anvesha Sethi. I LOVE her now. I know it is a stupidity to consider some mere feeling as love but it is as it is. Nobody knows about this accept Karan. If you wanna live peacefully, never hide anything from your best friend. He has witnessed my feelings for her since the childhood.

Anvesha Sethi, daughter of a renowned surgeon Indrajeet Sethi. My family and her family have been friends since our fathers' times. She was in 10th when I passed out from my school. After a year, she and her father left to Mumbai.

Even I thought it as a mere crush but it never faded away even when she left which made me realise that it was love which was growing day by day, moment by moment with the desperation to see her again, to talk to her and to listen to her.

I never properly interacted with her. I was Aadhya who was close to her. Her eldest brother was a year senior to me. We just had few convos formally at school events.

I moved to my cupboard and opened the locked punching the code. There it is. Her picture from an annual function in which she might be around fourteen. White long dress and open hairs with an innocent face and a pair of almond eyes, she looked like an angel even in her teen years. I have her bracelet too which I accidentally got. It had stars and moons hanging and a hook with a shiny outlook. I preserved these as they felt like the connection between us.

I kept them safely in my locker and locked it. After freshing up myself, I went to my closet to take out my outfit for the evening. Being a public figure, I always have to keep my outfit on check. You never know when papparazzis appraoch with cameras and long list of random questions.

I wore a grey turtle neck shirt with charcoal black pants and sneakers. After fastening my smart watch over my wrist, I took my overcoat and went towards the main hall to wait for everyone.

We reached a seven star place which was one of our chains of restraunts. We went on the top floor which is reserved for opulent and VIPs. We ordered for ourselves and waited for the meal to be served.

'It has been so long since we had a family time' Chachu said. True!

'Yeah, everytime either we both are busy or Rudraansh or the ladies or the kids with their studies' Dad said.

'Vaise bhale hi ye resturant bahut bada ho but it can not give the feel of having food and talking your hearts out at small dhabas' Dadu exclaimed getting a bit nostalgic making everyone smile.

'Kids you know, your dadi didn't know to cook when she got married to me' Continued dadu after a minute of silence.

'Haan to meri umar hi kya thi uss samay, I was just sixteen!' Dadi defended herself.

'Aur dadu aapki kya age thi?' Asked Vedu.

'I was twenty-one' He answered.

'Aap dono ki itni kam umar me shadi kaise ho gyi' Inu asked getting a bit shocked.

'It was common in those times beta! Even I and Anil got married before we turned twenty-five' said dad.

I think I know where the conversation is heading to. I took my phone out trying to act busy not paying attention to their conversation.

'Iss hisaab se to Rudra bhaiya is twenty-eight and Aadhu di is twenty-four, they should also get married soon' Ridhhu said. I knew it!

'Itna to kehti hu iss ladke ko, ye maane tab na' complained maa. I sighed.

'Ek baar Rudra ki shadi ho jaye, phir we will search for Aadhya too' Dadi said and I looked at Aadhya draining the colour of her face. Revenge time!

'Iski pehle karado, I can wait' I teased her.

'K...kuch bhi...I am just twenty-four! Sh...shadi se pehle I have some goals' She stammered.

'No one is stopping you from acheiving your goals, shadi karle bas pehle' I said.

'Vo..vo shadi...' why she was getting nervous?

'Dinner arrived!' she exclaimed taking relief. Good escape!

We had our dinner continuing the chats. It was delicious. I made a mental note to thank my chefs later.

I excused myself to the restroom. I did my business and washed my hands. I felt a bump on my shoulder and turned to look at the person.

Almond eyes, Black hairs and wheatish colour. I am even hallucinating Anvesha here. I sighed and kept looking at the person intensely.

She snapped her fingers in front of my face and....

WAIT!

SHE IS NOT HERE!

I AM JUST HALLUCINATING!

I confronted myself.
